He has a total understanding of harmony, great time and a gentle, pure sound that contributes greatly to the relaxed feeling of this music. Neil Swainson and Rudy Petschauer are a perfect rhythm section, always playing what the music demands but always finding ways to contribute excitement and beauty to whatever is going on.
This is a band that sounds like a band. They are all seasoned players who know exactly how they want to play and, most importantly, they have the ability to make the music their own, regardless of the composer. This is music that will always sound new.
